iDash uses GPS to measure speed. GPS speed readings require movement — this is normal behaviour.
How do I export a trip?
Open the Trips list from the menu, tap a trip, then tap Export. Choose GPX for mapping apps or CSV for spreadsheets.
How do I change the theme?
Swipe left or right on the dashboard to cycle through themes.
How do I change the gauge style?
Swipe up or down on the dashboard to cycle between Arc, Bar, Numeric, and Retro Needle styles.
Can I use iDash without a data connection?
Yes — all gauges use on-device GPS. An internet connection is only needed for map tiles and navigation search.
iDash does not collect or transmit any personal data. All trip data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it unless you choose to export it.
